Let them have their big feelings, just continously validate by saying empathetically that you understand wy they are upset and if they want a hug, give one help them relax if they dont want you to touch them just be there and tell them I am here if you want a hug. Crying is not a bad thing this is their way of expression what they are feeling let them cry and keep validating once they will listen that you understand them they will pause and respond.

How to prevent anger:
• Silence abolishes anger and a soft voice abolishes anger, therefore, when a man sees his anger growing strong within him:
1) He should be silent, or
2) should speak softly, he should not lift his voice in his anger, for the one who does lift his voice in his anger, will only arouse that anger, but a quiet voice and silence soothe anger.
3) Do not look in the face of a man that is angry with you, but drop your eyes and speak with him without staring into his face. Accordingly, he will cause anger to flee from his heart.

Firstly you have to manage some time out to spend with him, for example you can make mealtimes and bedtime a chance to interact with him . Recommended screen time for this age of kids is not more than 1hour a day and that too under the supervision of an adult. Not all the screen time is equal there is a good screentime during which you and him can play creative and coloring games and also high quality learning and educational ctivities are also available on Internet for this age.
What you can do is while you are teaching other kids you can make him sit with you, give him a coloring book or whatever catches his interest in books reading, writing, colors. Download coloring or learning games on mobile and let him try those. Provide him with a play area, unstructural okay time is very important at this age.
