No is never a solution,. Whenever he shouts tell him I understand you want to scream, I understand you want that thing but I am sorry you can’t have it as it’s dangerous for you. If you want to cry or need my help I am here for you. Stopping the child of this age will only make him do the thing eve more. Toddlers have exploring nature thats why they Want to try different things
I can understand your frustration with this behaviour but relax this is very normal for a 2 year old. It helps to know more about age appropriate behaviors but you also have to deal with it. My advice is to stay calm and have relaxed body posture. Toddlers say no because they are becoming independent and want to have control over their lives. You can help by giving choices where you can. However where you can’t give choices start saying a different type of word for each situation like hot or dangerous or careful instead of a simple no. This helps as they start to see a pattern. Also, use alot of cuddling and play to generally keep him calm. Hope that answers your question.
