It helps to know more about age appropriate behaviors but you also have to deal with it. My advice is to stay calm and have relaxed body posture. Toddlers say no because they are becoming independent and want to have control over their lives. You can help by giving choices where you can. However where you can’t give choices start saying a different type of word for each situation like hot or dangerous or careful instead of a simple no. This helps as they start to see a pattern. Also, use alot of cuddling and play to generally keep him calm. Hope that answers your question.
