Natural remedy for cough and Flu

Seasonal cough and flu affect everyone from kids to adults, we are sharing one simple home remedy – Home made kehwa. This helps in relieving cough and flu.

Ingredients
½ inch cinnamon stick
1 inch ginger
2 cardamom
½ inch Liquorice root
¾ tbs shakar/jaggery
Pinch of salt
½ tsp lemon juice
½ tsp green tea leaves
1 cup water
½ tsp honey

Process:

Boil 1 cup water, add cinnamon stick, ginger, cardamom, Liquorice root, shakar/jaggery, Pinch of salt and mix. Let it simmer for a minute. Add green tea leaves and lemon juice, simmer again for a minute. Turn off the stove, cover and wait for minute.

Drink warm. Suitable for both kids and adults. 2-3 ounces for kids 1 to 3 years twice a day, ½ cup for kids 3 years plus and adults twice a day.
